John Butters

John was Born 3 Jan 1868 in Dalbeattie, Kirkcudbrightshire

Son of William Routledge Butters of Dalbeattie, Kirkcudbrightshire and Emily Robson of Glasson, Cumberland.

Married:

Elizabeth Collins on 28 August 1889 Newcastle upon Tyne.

In 1891 they are living at Westgate, Newcastle, John a stonecutter.
In 1901 John and Elizabeth are at Ritton Whitehouse John a Set Maker and Elizabeth home with the children and home duties.
By 1911 & 1921 they are still living at Whitehouse, Ewsley John still a Setmaket for Ewsley Quarry Co Ltd.

In 1939 they are living at 17 Woodlands Rothbury, John a Quarry worker.
