There are 36 names of remembrance on the Netherwitton War memorial cross which is situated in the heart of the village, Beside the Ewesley Burn, The river Font. A Stone wheel Cross with Celtic style carved decoration on head and shaft, mounted on tapering stone pedestal. Square stepped stone base. Octagonal base step. © WMR-34153
