This tablet is erected in the glory of god and in loving memory of all those both men and women who patriotically assisted by joining the colours to procecute the Great War to a successful issue and also to the sacred proud and undying memory of the following both of the regular and territorial Army who gallantly and nobly responded to their country's call in the hour of need and made the supreme sacrifice in the Great War 1914-18
